Wayne D. Beck, 78, of Onawa, Iowa, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center, Sioux City, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the Rush Family Chapel with Pastor Michael Lewis, officiating. (FAMILY REQUESTS ALL ATTENDEES TO BRING AND WEAR MASKS- Social distancing measures must be followed). Burial will be in the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday, July 6, 2020 at the Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa.

Wayne Dennis Beck was born February 27, 1942 in Bennington Township, Minnesota the son of Martin C. and Ruth N. (Wigness) Beck. He grew up and attended school in Minnesota. He purchased his first semi at the age of seventeen and worked as a lumber jack, logging and hauling. He owned and operated Beck Metal express in Webster City and later in Onawa, Iowa. He drove over the road semi, hauling many tons of scrap metal.

He was an avid NASCAR fan, especially the Penske Auto Racing Team. Wayne also enjoyed traveling, camping, and wintering in California and Texas for many years. He enjoyed spending time with all of his family and cherished time spent in the great outdoors, boating, and all of his “toy” projects.

Wayne was a past member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Webster City, Iowa.

Those left to cherish his memory are his special friend, Marilyn Baxter of Onawa, Iowa; his children, Mickey (Cindy) Bullock of Houston, Texas, Pamela (Dan Bujanovich) Wielinski of Hales Corners, Wisconsin, Khara (Russ Rosemeyer) Whitead of Ponca, Nebraska, Kim (John) Morrison of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Stacey (Deric) Legg of Leon, Iowa, Stacy Stenberg of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and Johnny Beck of Webster City, Iowa; grandchildren, Dustin, Tera, Randall, Troy, Mindy, Curtis, Jesse, Jazzlinn, Whitney, Ben, Ali, Stephenie, Shawn, Michael, Michelle, Cody, Brandi, Trey, Mark, and Kayla; 35 great-grandchildren; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Ruth (Wigness) Beck; his siblings, Kenneth Beck, Jeanie Beck, Virgil Beck, Shirley Woodford, Ernie Beck, and Earl Beck.

Casket Bearers will be Dustin Haggard, David Carter, Jesse Nobbe, Brayden Kennedy, Landon Gilster, and Troy Sturges.
