LuAnn Keenan was born October 8, 1956 in Manning, Iowa the daughter of Arthur Jerome and Lillian Adelia (Stone) Warren. Luann grew up in Bayard, IA and graduated from Bayard High School in 1974. LuAnn married William (Bill) Keenan Sr. in 1974 in Bayard, Iowa.

She worked at the local grocery store IGA before becoming a stay at home mother for many years.

LuAnn always put her six children first and loved every minute of it. Many years later it was just LuAnn and her six children. After her children had all grown, LuAnn started working laundry at Elmwood Care Center for years and then transferred to Pleasant View Care Center for the last few years before being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer at the end of July 2019. She showed tremendous amounts of strength, courage, and willpower to fight the cancer battle. LuAnn loved her grandchildren and great-grandchild even more than her children. She had a contagious smile and laugh even on her bad days. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild kept her going especially after her diagnosis. Anyone that knew LuAnn would say she had a huge heart and did what she could for the people she loved. She loved playing with her grandchildren, crocheting, listening to music like Theory of a Deadman, watching her favorite television shows like Mom and The Golden Girls, caring for her house plants, and rock collecting.
