September 2, 1944 ~ June 4, 2019 (age 74)

Floyd A. Feige, 74, of Sloan, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at his residence.

Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, June 8, 2019, at the Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, Iowa, with Pastor Matt Sperling officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Valley Cemetery near Moorhead, Iowa, with military honors provided by the United States Navy and the David McNeill American Legion Post #129 of Onawa. Visitation will be 9:00 A.M. until service time on Saturday at the Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa.

Floyd Alva was born on September 2, 1944, in Moorhead, Iowa, to Alva and Alice (Bouslaugh) Feige. He joined the United States Navy in 1961 and served until his honorable discharge.

Floyd married Brenda Potter on December 1, 1965, and to this union four children were born: Lori, John, Melissa, and Linda. The couple lived in Moorhead until 1974, and then moved to California until moving back to Moorhead in 1984. Brenda passed away on January 11, 1988.

Floyd married Marilyn Habinck on October 14, 1989.

He enjoyed watching TV and cooking out, but most of all he loved spending time with all of his family.

Survivors include his girlfriend, Jean Lane of Sloan, IA; his children, Lori Archer of Carroll, IA, John Feige of Blencoe, IA, Melissa Feige of Onawa, IA, Linda (Bob) Schmitz of Carroll, IA, and Kevin (Catrina) Feige of Dunlap, IA; stepchildren, Tammy (Mike) Sila of Mapleton, IA and Jody (Becca) Habinck of Mankato, MN; grandchildren, Logan, Tasha, Shy, Jason, Joseph, Donna, Trevor, and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Kiley, Bentley, and Kennedy; and his siblings, Marvin Feige, Susan (Rick) Cole, and Wendy (Irwin) Welch, all of Omaha, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Alice Feige; his wives, Brenda Feige and Marilyn Feige; and one brother, Michael Feige.
