Russell John DiMartino, 75, of Blencoe, Iowa passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at his residence.

A celebration of life service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, Iowa with Pastor Michael Lewis, officiating. Refreshments will follow at the Chapel. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Blencoe, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa.

Russell John DiMartino was born October 29, 1943 in Omaha, Nebraska the son of Gaetano and Agatha (Incontro) DiMartino. He grew up in Omaha where he graduated from high school.

Russell loved the country life and spending time in the outdoors. He also loved collecting and selling antiques.

Survivors include two sisters, Marie Gulizia of Menifee, California, and Christi Rock of Loma Linda, California; a brother, Salvatore DiMartino of Colton, California; and a son, Gerald DiMartino of Mission Viejo, California; several nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaetano and Agatha DiMartino; his wife, Pamela Jean (Stickney) DiMartino on May 15, 2011; and several other family members.
