Obituary from the Onawa paper: Frank O'Connor, an old citizen of Onawa, died on Tuesday Janurary 21, 1908 after a lingering sickness of several months. Mr. O'Connor was 82 years old on the 18 of November. He was born in Stuben County, New York, and in that state was united in marriage to Miss Ann Bradley who died in 1905. They came to Onawa forty years ago and resided here continously until their death. Mr. O'Connor was in the hotel and livery business in Onawa for many years. His hotel was a popular place for the farmers of the county on their visits to Onawa. He and his good wife were kind people and their hotel became a home for those who stopped with him. For several years Mr. O'Connor had not been in active business. For some months he has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Riggs. The funeral was conducted by Rev. E. F. Leake, of the Christian Church, from the home of his daughter on Wednesday afternoon, attended by many old friends of the deceased. He leaves three sons and one daughter to mourn his departure.
