Ronald Glen Walker passed away Thursday, February 19th, 2009.

Ron was born May 7th, 1951 in Onawa, Iowa the son of Glen "Tuffy" and Vera Mae Walker.

Ron graduated from West Monona High School in 1969.

Ron was employed at Western Iowa Power Cooperative "REC" and later moved to Palmer, Alaska where he worked as a power lineman for 25 years.

Ron was currently living in Eagle Point, Oregon where he continued his trade.

Ron was a member of the Blencoe United Church of Christ.

Survivors include his mother Vera Mae, two sisters Cheryl and Charlene, three brothers Brad, Kevin, and Mark, his sons Kurt and Bret and their families and six grandchildren.

Ron was preceded in death by his father Glen and a brother Clinton.

A service celebrating Ron's life will be held at the United Church of Christ, 903 Diamond St. Onawa, Iowa Saturday March 21st at 10:00 A.M.
