29 May 2019Coraline Harding, 7 years old, of Turin, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, surrounded by her family, after a courageous roller coaster of a battle with brain cancer.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 26, 2019, at the West Monona Community High School Ooten Auditorium in Onawa, Iowa, led by Jack Gibler. Burial will be in Belvidere Cemetery in rural Turin, Iowa. Visitation will be 12:30 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday at the school.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa, Iowa.
Coraline Bailey Harding was born on July 17, 2011, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Casey and Heather (Healy) Harding. She grew up in Turin, Iowa, and was currently in the 2nd grade at West Monona Community School in Onawa, Iowa.
From the time she was little, Coraline brought joy and laughter to our lives. She was adventurous and fearless, and loved the outdoors. She enjoyed swimming, hiking, crafting, and playing Minecraft. She absolutely adored school and made lots of friends. She loved her teachers and would always accept any new challenges. Her favorite subject was math and it showed. One of her favorite things to do most of all was playing with her brother Eli, who loves math too because his amazing big sister was always teaching him everything she could.
Survivors include her parents, Casey and Heather Harding of Turin, IA; her brother, Eli Harding of Turin, IA; grandparents, Burnell and Joyce Harding of Turin, IA, Roger Healy of Castana, IA, Kathy Brown of Turin, IA, and Jeanie and Greg Erlemeier of Soldier, IA; aunts and uncles, Lana and Eric Brown of Turin, IA, Chad and Charis Harding of Canyon City, CO, Jarrod and Chasity Healy of Turin, IA, and Angie and Darold Foster of Wahoo, NE; and many cousins, other relatives, and friends.
