Mr. Nathan John Watson, age 65, 104 Mt. Zion Church Rd., Jonesborough, died August 20, 2005, at Newton Regional Hospital in Newton, Mississippi.

Mr. Watson was a native of Blencoe, Iowa, and son of the late Clair Vernon & Ruth Cline Grapes Watson.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Watson was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Watson retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 20 years of service in 1980 and retired from Boeing Aircraft in 1998.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Young Watson, Jonesborough; two daughters, Katy Wilson, Pella, Iowa, and Julie Kennedy, Poison, Montana; one son, David Watson, Dayton, Ohio; six grandchildren, Marissa & Ariel Kennedy, Poison, Montana Breanna & Alex Watson, Eugene, Oregon, and Bailey & Ryan Wilson, Pella, Iowa.
