MOORHEAD, Iowa -- Lottie D. Magill Loeffelholz, 67, of West Des Moines, formerly of Moorhead, died Monday, April 11, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Mark Lutheran Church in West Des Moines. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation with the family present 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a service of remembrance at 7:30 p.m., at McLaren's Chapel in West Des Moines.

Lottie was born Jan. 7, 1938, in Moorhead, the daughter of Harold O. and Esther (Eskelsen) Nielsen. She graduated from Moorhead High School in 1956 and received her teaching certificate from Morningside College in Sioux City.

She married C. Jerry Magill on June 8, 1958, in Moorhead. He died March 5, 1989, in Des Moines. She married Ralph Loeffelholz on Feb. 11, 1995, in West Des Moines.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph of West Des Moines; a son, Rick J. Magill of Ankeny, Iowa; a daughter, Lori D. (Richard) Renzi of Chicago; four grandchildren, Jeremy, Krystal, Ryan Magill and VJ Renzi; two brothers, Karl (Barbara) Nielsen of Omaha, and Ivan (Janice) Nielsen of Moorhead; and a sister, Sheila (Donald) Lindsey of Moorhead.

She also was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be given to the C. Jerry Magill "I Care" Scholarship Award in care of 801 19th St., West Des Moines, IA. 50265.
