Herbert L. Fletcher, age 81 years old passed away in Broomfield, Colorado on December 21, 2018.

Born March 2, 1937 in Onawa, Iowa, Herb retired from RTD in 1999 where he worked as a bus driver for 26 years. He also drove the National Western Stock Show bus and loved taking his family to the Stock Show, a tradition they carry on today. His hobbies included woodworking and gardening. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and was Head Trustee at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Fletcher, 4 Children, Debbie Olsen, Becky Dickerson, Gary Fletcher (Shawna), Terry Fletcher (Gloria), and 3 Children by Marriage, Mike Hoops (Rhea), Scott Hoops (Teresa), Janelle Harris (Mark), 19 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great, Great Grandchildren. Herb was preceded in death by his Mother Edna Swanson, Father Loyd Fletcher and Sister Phyllis Cummins.

Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 500 Drake St., Denver, CO 80221. A private burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
