George Danahy Funeral Friday

Funeral services for George Danahy, 72 years old, who passed away Tuesday evening in the home of his niece, Mrs. Adolph Means, near Mapleton, following a brief illness with heart trouble, will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock in the Byers Funeral Home.

Rev. A.F. Schuldt, pastor of the Methodist Church, will officiate.

Interment will be in St. Clair Cemetery at Ute.

Mr. Danahy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Danahy, was born March 8, 1867, in Clinton County, Iowa. He had made his home in this vicinity during the last 30 years.

He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Harry Lee of Castana, Mrs. W.J. Smith of Galva, Mrs. F.B. Williams of Battle Creek and Mrs. W.M. Stolley of Vivian, South Dakota.

Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death—Mapleton Press.
