Mrs. Cooper Buried Saturday

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Waterhouse Cooper, former Mapleton resident, who passed away Thursday in Dallas, Texas, of a heart attack, will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock in the Byers Funeral home in Mapleton.

Rev. G.W. Dunn, pastor of First Methodist church in Sioux City and a former Mapleton pastor will officiate.

Interment will be in the Charter Oak Cemetery.

Dr. Waterhouse, who was a physician in Mapleton many years, preceded his wife in death in 1923. Later she was married to C.E. Cooper of Onawa – Mapleton Press.
