Gertrude M Stanislav, 90, Blencoe, Iowa, passed away November 29, 1984 at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa, Iowa.

She was born July 10, 1894 at Weston, Neb. to Joseph and Christina Fiedler Hiltcher. On November 16, 1914, she was united in marriage to John Stanislav at Weston, Neb. They lived in the Weston and Ceresco, Neb. areas before moving to Blencoe in I937 where they farmed. He died September 1, 1984, at Omaha, Neb.

She was a member of the St. Bernards Catholic Church at Blencoe and the Rosary Society of the Church.

Survivors include two sons, John J. Stanislav of Onawa, and Leo J Stanislav of Blencoe, a sister, Mrs. Gladys Lindquist of Ceresco, Neb., eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Gertrude Pekarek, two sisters, Ida Magnuson and Emma Machacek, and an infant brother, Herman Hiltcher.

A Rosary was held at 7 p. m. Sunday, December 2, 1984 at the Pearson Funeral Chapel, Onawa, Iowa.

A Funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 3, 1984 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Blencoe, Iowa, with Father Donald Smith, Mass Celebrant. The organist was Mrs. James Stangel and the "Mass For The Deceased" was by the Choir.

Casket bearers Roger Stanislav, Norman Stanislav, Randall Stanislav, Danny Stanislav, Todd Stanislav, Mahlon Pekarek, Rogene Pekarek and Terry Pekarek.

Interment was in Graceland Cemetery. Blencoe, Iowa, with arrangements by Pearson Funeral Home, Onawa, Iowa.
