10 January 2018Amy-Jo Langenegger, 58, of Blencoe, Iowa, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, Iowa, with Pastor Linda Boggs officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date in the Woodbine Cemetery in Woodbine, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa.
Amy-Jo Olivia Langenegger was born on December 27, 1959, in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Miller) Langenegger.
Amy-Jo worked as a phlebotomist in the lab at Burgess Health Center in Onawa.
She enjoyed crocheting Christmas ornaments and reading, especially mystery books. She loved playing board games with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her companion, Bill Noble of Blencoe, IA; three children, Tim (Kristen) Hendershot of Omaha, NE, Ed (Erin Johansen) Hendershot of Council Bluffs, IA, and Angela (Giovanny) Martinez of Omaha, NE; two stepchildren, Melisa (Patrick) Baisden and Travis (Laura) Iommi, both of Doylestown, PA; twelve grandchildren; Maddison, Jaiden, Giovanny Jr., Amariah, Julien, Malcolm, Sophia, Henry, Eddie, Hailee, Logan, and Max; and one brother and one sister.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Langenegger, and her husband, Jeff Hinkel in 2007.
