Cindy Sue Davis, 55, of Onawa, Iowa passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting, Iowa.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the First Christian Church in Onawa, Iowa with Pastor Michael Lewis, officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Mapleton, Iowa. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa, Iowa.

Cynthia Sue was born on June 16, 1961 in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of Harvey and Mary Benita "Bea" (Burke) Davis. She grew up in Mapleton, Iowa. She attended school in Rock Rapids, Iowa where she resided with a Hope Haven family and received her high school diploma.

Cindy has been a client with Crossroads of Western Iowa for many years. She first lived in Mapleton, Iowa and has resided in Onawa, Iowa since 1994. She was employed in their workshop.

Cindy loved music, movies, amusement parks (especially roller coasters), dancing, and doing cross-stitch. Fried chicken was her favorite food.

Cindy was a member of Crossroads and the First Christian Church both in Onawa, Iowa.
Survivors include her two sisters, Teresa (Mel) Jaixen of Omaha, NE and Norma (James) Craig of Bethlehem, PA; many nieces & nephews & great nieces & nephews; and her loving family from Crossroads.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, James "Jim" Bartlett.
Memorials in Cindy's memory may be directed to Crossroads of Western Iowa and Pleasant View Care Center (Alzheimer's Wing).
