Timothy I. “Tim” Severude, age 64, of Mapleton, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at his home of Mapleton, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Whitfield United Methodist Church of Sioux City, Iowa. Reverend Liz Tucker will officiate the Memorial Service. No Visitation will be held. The Armstrong - Van Houten Funeral Home of Mapleton, Iowa is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Timothy “Tim” Severude was born on July 29, 1952 in Chippewa Falls, WI to Edwin and Beverly (Boldon, Novak) Severude. He grew up in Dallas, WI and attended High School in Barron, WI.

Tim worked construction and in his younger years loved working on stock cars. He enjoyed Nascar, watching old westerns, and spending time with Allison and Emily.

Tim is survived by his siblings, Jennifer Severude, Thomas Severude, Stephanie (Duane) Fansler; 13 nieces, and nephews; dear friends, Kathleen, Christopher, Allison, and Emily Moyle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Beverly Severude; siblings, Rodney M. Novak and Jeanine Jo H Severude.
