Emma Irene Claus, 97, of Whiting, Iowa, formerly of Rodney and Hornick, Iowa passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017, at the Pleasant View Care Center of Whiting, Iowa.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the Smithland United Methodist Church of Smithland, Iowa.

Pastor Karen Handke and Anthony Bainbridge will officiate; Committal Services will follow in the Little Sioux Township Cemetery of Smithland, Iowa.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Smithland United Methodist Church of Smithland, Iowa. The Armstrong - Van Houten Funeral Home of Mapleton, Iowa is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
