Onawa, Iowa— Gerald “Jerry” Campbell, 67, of Concord, California, formerly of Onawa, died Sunday, August 13, 2000, in Concord.

Services were held Thursday, August 17, at Bethel Baptist Church in Concord. Burial was in Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Arrangements were under the direction of Bryant and Moore Funeral Chapel in Concord.

Mr. Campbell was born February 26, 1933 in Moorhead, Iowa. He was raised in Onawa. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

From 1972 to 1985, he resided in South Lake Tahoe, California, where he owned G. Campbell Construction.

He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Engineers Local 39 and American Legion.

He enjoyed golfing, fishing and boating.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Anne; two daughters, Sharon Bowman of Concord, and Dianna McKenzie of Pleasant Hill, California; a son, Rick of Folsom, California; his mother, Edna Campbell of Onawa; two sisters, Elsie Grandgenette and Darlene Grandgenette, both of Onawa; two brothers, Wayne of Rock Springs, Wyo., and Floyd of Omaha; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hiram; a sister, Thelma Shellenberg; and three brothers, Raymond, Kenneth and Leo.
