SIOUX CITY | Jeannette Marie (Menard) Moeschler, 75, of Ventura, Calif., formerly of Sioux City, passed away on April 13, 2016, following a lengthy illness.

Jeannette was born in Sioux City on July 28, 1940. She lived in Mapleton, Iowa, until she was 10 years old, when her family moved to Oxnard, Calif. In the early 1990s, she moved back to Mapleton, where she enjoyed 17 wonderful years with her family.

Jeannette is survived by her husband, Milton; her sister, Kathleen McAlexander of Edinburg, Texas; three children, Jeffrey Brown of Ventura, Becky (Vince) Knego of Auburn, Calif., and Jacqueline Alarcon of Ventura; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Maude Menard.
