William E. Sammin, Former Omahan

William E. Sammin, former Omaha pharmacist, died Monday at Phoenix, Ariz. He was 60.

Mr. Sammin, a 1924 graduate of the Creighton University School of Pharmacy, formerly employed here at the Unitt-Docekal and Benson-Williams Drug Store and left Omaha about 5 years ago.

Survivors are his wife, Lavina; daughter, Mrs. Mary Bezdek, both of Phoenix; sister and brother, Mrs. Florence Chantry and Cletus both of Omaha.

Funeral services will be in Phoenix Wednesday.

Rosary for William E. Sammin, 58, who died Dec. 7, 1964, in Good Samaritan Hospital, was recited in Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback. Requiem High Mass was sung in St. Francis Xavier Church. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery.

Mr. Sammin was assistant manager of the Ryan Evans Drug Store at 1536 W. Van Buren.

Born in Emmettsburg, Iowa, he moved to Phoenix nine years ago from Norfolk, Nebraska. He moved to Glendale in 1960 and lived at 5213 N. 67th Ave.

His wife, Lavina; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Bezdek of Phoenix; and a brother, Cletus, and another sister, Mrs. Florence Chantry, both of Omaha, Nebraska, survive.
