Father of Floyd Sammin Died Monday, January 19

Word has been received here of the death of W.H. Sammin, father of Floyd Sammin, of this city, who passed away Monday, January 19th 1953 at the age of 75 years. His wife preceded him in death a number of years ago.

Survivors are his three sons, Floyd of Onawa, Cletus of Omaha; and William of Norfolk, Nebraska; and one daughter, Mrs. Florence Chantry of Omaha.

Mr. Sammin for many years was in business in Onawa operating a produce house and will be remembered by many in this vicinity.

Services will be held in St. John’s Church on Thursday morning at 10 o’clock, Rev. Greteman officiating. Burial will be in the Onawa Cemetery.
