Suzanna K. Kreger, 65, of Onawa, Iowa passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, Iowa led by Jack Gibler. Burial will be in the Onawa Cemetery, Onawa, Iowa. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service, Onawa, Iowa.

Suzanna Kay was born June 30, 1950, in Sioux City, Iowa the daughter of John E. and Clara V. (Knudsen) White. She grew up in the Jackson, Nebraska area and graduated from South Sioux City High School in South Sioux City, Nebraska.
Suzanna and Larry Kreger were united in marriage on February 15, 1980, at the First Christian Church in Onawa, Iowa. Four children were born to this union, Larry Jr., Jeremy, Kirk, and Katie.

Sue graduated from Tyler Beauty School in Sioux City, Iowa, and operated her own salon, Charisma Beauty Salon for seventeen years in Onawa, Iowa. For several years, Sue fixed hair at Elmwood Care Centre in Onawa, Iowa and Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting, Iowa and for many regular clients around this area. She also worked as a mail carrier for the United Postal Service for over ten years.

Sue enjoyed tending to her yard and garden. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends, and loved any kind of get together. Sue was a kind person who took care of everybody and was always willing to help anyone.

Sue was a member of the First Christian Church in Onawa, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-six years, Larry Kreger of Onawa, IA; three sons, Larry Jr. (Kelli) Kreger of Phoenix, AZ, Jeremy (Brooke) Kreger of Onawa, IA, and Kirk Kreger of Onawa, IA; one daughter, Katie (fiancé Pat Kelley) Kreger of Blencoe, IA; two grandchildren, Lauren Jones and Henley Kreger; two sisters, Jeanette (Don) Birkes and Carol Washburn; two brothers, Douglas (Pam) White and Steve White; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Adkins and Nancy (Leroy) Kepner; one brother-in-law, Chris (Theo) Kreger; aunts and uncles, Mary (Roy) Kress, Jeanne Polly, and Jim (Nancy) Tyson; and numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Clara (Knudsen) White; and her parents-in-law, Dale and Margaret Kreger.
