SIOUX CITY | Agnes M. Uhl, 80, of Sioux City passed away on Feb. 15, 2016, at a local hospital.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sioux City, with the Rev. Bertrand officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Mapleton, Iowa. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a rosary at 4 p.m., the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a parish vigil service at 7 p.m., at Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.

Agnes was born on March 3, 1935, to Theodore and Marie (Meyers) Eickholt. Agnes attended school in Anthon and Oto, Iowa.

She married Ronald Uhl on May 3, 1952 in Anthon. To this union six children were born and raised on a farm four miles south of Mapleton. Agnes owned the Circle U Cafe in Mapleton in the early 1980s. She also worked at Casey's in Mapleton until retirement.

Agnes loved cooking, baking, playing bingo, catching up with family and friends on Facebook, and spending time with her grandkids.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Uhl; daughters, Pam (Jack) Fulton, Karen (Glen) Forbes, Linda Maynard, and Lori (Randy) Huggenberger; sons, Steve (Donna) Uhl, and Robert (Nyla) Uhl; grandchildren, Adam Uhl, Allie Uhl, Rod Uhl, Anna Uhl, Tom Uhl, Nicole Ledden, Tim Huggenberger, Justin Maynard, Ronda Polly, Connor Uhl, Max Uhl, and Maggie Uhl; great-grandchild, Bentley Ann Uhl; and a sister, Pauline Dugan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Leo Eickholt.
