1 September 1910Karl Albrecht whose death was briefly reported last week, was born in Germany, August 13, 1846, where he grow to manhood.
He was united in marriage to Marin Heiden, November 4, 1871 and two years later they came to America settling in Franklin Township where they have since resided. He was a member of the German Lutheran church and was a prosperous farmer and highly respected citizen. He leaves a wife and two brothers and many friends to mourn his loss.
He was taken sick a year ago and the ailment proved to be a cancer of the stomach. His death occurred on Thursday morning, August 25, 1910, and the funeral was conducted Saturday, August 27th, by Rev. Vinton Lee, from the Congregational church.
