The contrast between the enclosed high rises of New York City and the beautiful rolling hills and open blue skies of Iowa was so breathtaking to him. He moved to New York City and lived on Broadway. He toured Europe as a Shakespearean actor and later did musical productions at dinner theaters. He was always the life of the party with his wit, improvisations and charm. He had a deep rich speaking and singing voice and trained students to sing. He was a member of the Actor Guild. Vince was cultured man, interested in architecture and art. He also had as a hobby gold gilding.
