MOORHEAD, Iowa -- Kimberly Kay (Meadows) Nordaker, 33, of Moorhead died Monday, June 9, 2008, near Moorhead.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Christian Church in Moorhead. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today, with the family present 5 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Fouts Funeral Home in Woodbine, Iowa.

Kim was born Aug. 30, 1974, to Phil and Nancy (Hull) Meadows in Onawa, Iowa. She was active in high school, playing the saxophone in the band and playing basketball and softball. She graduated from East Monona High School in 1992.

She and Justin Hanson were blessed with a child, Haylee, in 1992. She married Brent Willis and the couple had two children, Seth in 1995 and Kassidy in 1998. She then married Jason Nordaker and the couple was blessed with twins, Connor and Cole in 2002.

She attended Western Iowa Tech Community College and earned her LPN degree. She worked at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Blair, Neb., Westmont Care Center in Logan, Iowa, Elmwood Care Centre in Onawa, Iowa, and Pleasant View Nursing Home in Whiting, Iowa. She also volunteered as a emergency medical technician on the Moorhead Rescue Unit.

She was baptized at the Moorhead Christian Church. She loved her children. She also enjoyed the movie Dirty Dancing and music by John Mellencamp. She liked to talk on the phone and had an uncanny ability to remember phone numbers and license plates. She also made wonderful cinnamon rolls.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Nordaker of Moorhead; their twin sons, Connor and Cole of Moorhead; her children, Haylee Hanson of Ute, Iowa, and Seth and Kassidy Willis of Woodbine, Iowa; her parents, Phil and Nancy Meadows; a sister, Lena (Jeremiah) Terry of Whiting, Iowa; a brother, Matthew (Audrey) Meadows of Moorhead; and grandmother, Edna Hull of Moorhead.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leo Hull and Cecil and Delores Meadows.
