ONAWA, Iowa | Margaret "Lorraine" Greinke, 94, of Onawa died Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Elmwood Care Centre in Onawa.

Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Onawa United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Catie Newman officiating. Burial will be in Onawa Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Rush Family Care Service in Onawa.

Margaret "Lorraine" was born on Aug. 31, 1919, in Onawa, the daughter of Fred N. and Myrna (Beigel) Stevenson. She was raised in the Onawa area and graduated from Onawa High School.

Lorraine and Walter "Bud" Greinke were united in marriage on June 21, 1941 in Chicago, Ill. Three children were born to this union, Robert, Charles, and Nancy. Bud passed away on Dec. 21, 2003.

Lorraine was a housewife. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and raising vegetables in her garden. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lorraine was a member of Onawa United Methodist Church, where she was a very active member of Esther Circle.

Survivors include her three children, Robert (Lois) Greinke of Omaha, Charles (Kathy) Greinke of Tinley Park, Ill., and Nancy (Jerry) Miller of Grand Junction, Colo.; six grandchildren, Todd (Tiffany) Greinke, Chuck (Bette) Greinke, Jeff (Sheri) Ahern, Trisha (Matt) Sullivan, Stacey (Sam) Vis, and Kristine Campbell; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Edson and Joann Eisele; three brothers, Robert (Bonnie) Stevenson, Dick (Alice) Stevenson, and Jack (Norma) Stevenson; and one sister-in-law, Bernice Stevenson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter "Bud" Greinke; one sister, Dorothy Hoffman; two brothers, George Stevenson and Don Stevenson; three brothers-in-law, Harry Hoffman, Rogene Eisele, and Norman Edson; and two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Stevenson and Gloria Stevenson.

Memorials in Lorraine’s memory may be directed to Onawa United Methodist Church
