Marvin J. Price was born March 1, 1905 near Whiting, Iowa, to Ed and Lillie (Adair) Price. He grew up in the Whiting and Onawa area and farmed the greater portion of his working years. He later worked as a janitor until retiring.

Marvin married Irma Hall on July 1, 1944, at Elk Point, SD, they resided for many years in Council Bluffs and had moved to Fort Dodge, Iowa for just two years when Irma passed away in 1988. Marvin then became a resident at the Westmont Care Center in Logan where he passed away Thursday, May 20th at the age of 88.

Marvin is survived by one son, Kermit Price of Merino Valley, CA and one daughter, Phyllis Williams of Early, Iowa, four step children, five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a number of step grandchildren, also one brother, Art Price of Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Services for Marvin were held Saturday, May 22, 1993 at 2:00 p.m. Officiating was Rev. Owen Wilmont.

Interment was in the Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia, Iowa.
