H. 0. Johnson, 66, resident of Whiting, Ia., since 1927, died Friday evening in a hospital here, Born September 3, 1878 in Mentor, 0h., he moved to Onawa in 1899 where he was married to Margaret Maude Harmon.

They moved to Whiting in 1927 and had operated a harness and shoe store there.

He was a former member of the Whiting town council and a member of the Congregational church.

Surviving are the widow; a son, Kenneth of Sioux City; and a daughter, Mrs. Ted Carlson, Nebraska City, Neb.

The body was taken to the West-Heaton funeral home.

Funeral services for H. 0. Johnson, 66, a Whiting, Ia., operator of a harness shop and shoe store, who died Friday in a Sioux City hospital, will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday in the Congregational church at Whiting. Rev. T. A. Thompson, pastor of the church, will officiate.

Burial will be in the cemetery at Onawa, Ia., under the direction of the West-Heaton funeral home of Sioux City.
