Funeral services for Mrs., Ellsworth Inman, 80, Smithland, who died Saturday at an Onawa nursing home after a long Illness, were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the United Church of Christ at Rodney Carl Jensen officiated. Burial was in Grant cemetery under the direction of the Willman funeral home of Rodney.

Mrs. Inman, the former Jessie Manson, was born August 5, 1883, at Quasqueton, Iowa A graduate of Coe college in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she taught school for the American Negro association in Mobile, Ala., and in Lexington, Ky. She also taught school in Rodney. She was married to Ellsworth Inman October 13, 1915, in Cedar Rapids.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ at Rodney Survivors include the widower, two sons, John of Smithland, Lt. Willard of the United States navy, a brother, Edd Manson of Marion, Iowa, and five grandchildren.
