Mrs. Beatrice Fern Hollister was born March 9, 1905, in southwestern Iowa and died Saturday, December 7, 1968 at Salem, Oregon.

The former Beatrice Chiles married Orville Hollister, Woodbury County in October, 1924 and lived in Climbing Hill, Rodney and Mapleton, Iowa before moving to Glendale, Calif. in 1943.
They moved to Salem in 1967.

Survivors include the widower, one daughter, Mrs. Elois Crane of San Jose, Calif., and three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Camerer and Mrs. Helen Graham of Glendale and Miss Naomi Chiles of Independence, Missouri and a brother, William Chiles of Sioux City.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 11, 1968 at the Rodney United Church of Christ. Elder Glen Ford officiated. Burial was in Grant Township Cemetery near Rodney.
