Mrs. Holbrook Is Taken By Death
Sister of Marion and Harry Ferdig Buried in Grant Cemetery Wednesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Anna Holbrook, 66 years old, who passed away Tuesday in the Lutheran hospital in Sioux City, were held Wednesday afternoon in Willman Funeral Parlors at Rodney

Additional services were held later in the day in the Methodist church at Ticonic with Rev. II, I. Pharo officiating.

Interment was in Grant cemetery under the direction of the Willman Funeral home.

Mrs. Holbrook was born November 11, 1872, in Mapleton. She was united in marriage to Orin Wesley Holbrook January 1, 1892. During the last 20 years she had been a member of the Pentecostal society.

She is survived by her husband and 6 children, Bert, Eva, Edwin, Lille and John.

She also is survived by 7 brothers, Frank Ferdig of Climbing Hill, Marlon and Harry Ferdig of Mapleton, William Ferdig of Sioux City, Mike Ferdig of Onawa, Ed Ferdig and Bert Ferdig of Smithland and three sisters, Mrs. Short of Los Angeles, Mrs. Clara Peacock of Mapleton and Mrs. Lillie Blankenhorn of Smithland.
