Nancy Carol Hupke, 59, of Anaheim, Calif., formerly of the Mapleton area, died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, in Brea, Calif.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mapleton, with the Rev. Edmund Tiedeman officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Mapleton arrangements are under the direction of Armstrong Funeral Home in Mapleton.

Mrs. Hupke was born Jan. 3, 1942, in Sioux Falls, S.D., the daughter of Lloyd and Leona (Matthews) Lee. She graduated from Central High School.

She married Robert Hupke on Feb. 10, 1962. The couple moved to California in 1963 and settled in Anaheim.

She was active in her church.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Robert and Kevin, both of Anaheim and Keith of Santo Margarita, Calif.; three grandchildren; a sister, Doris Bogaard of Sioux City; and a brother, Lloyd Lee of South Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
