MOORHEAD, Iowa --- Raymond Fredrickson, 91, of Moorhead died Saturday in a nursing home in Onawa after a short illness.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Bethesda Lutheran Church in Moorhead. The Rev. Paul Birkedahl will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Valley Cemetery. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. today in the Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa.

Mr. Fredrickson was born Feb. 4, 1894, at Onawa. He resided in Sioux Township until his marriage to Lottie Johnson Feb. 14, 197, in Moorhead. They lived and farmed at Moorhead. She died April 22, 1953, in Sioux City. He married Marie Eskelsen Aug. 28, 1957, at Moorhead. He retired from farming in 1965 and had been a resident of Elmwood Nursing Home in Onawa since July 5, 1985.

Mr. Fredrickson was a member of Ingeman Lutheran Church, near Moorhead and the Moorhead Co-op. He served on the Rural electric Co-operative Board and was a trustee of Spring Valley Township.

Survivors include his wife of Onawa; three daughters, Ada Nuzum of Pisgah, Leone Mann and Shirley McWilliams, both of Moorhead; a stepson, Page Eskelsen of Moorhead; two stepdaughters, Charlotte Kroeger of Adel and Ardis Seitzinger of Onawa; a brother, Herald of Onawa; 11 grandchildren; 12 stepgrandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 16 stepgreat-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
