MRS. CARL FOSS DIES IN MINNESOTA

Mrs. Carl Foss, 84, of Glenwood, Minn., a former Soldier resident, died Saturday, December 9, 1978, at Glenwood after a lengthy illness.

Services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Lutheran Church in Soldier, with Pastor William G. Carter officiating. Interment was in the Soldier Lutheran Church cemetery with the Pearson Funeral Home in Sldier(sic) in charge.

Mrs. Foss, the former Josie Swenson, was born in Soldier, October 27, 1894. She married Carl O. Foss on May 24, 1916. He died in 1928. She had lived in Glenwood the past 40 years.

Surviving are a son, Almen of Glenwood; a brother, Adolph Swenson of Soldier; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Carritt and Mrs. Gunda Harris, both of Soldier, four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
