Ariel H Virtue, 76, Onawa, Iowa, passed away July 11, 1980 at the Burgess Memorial Hospital, Onawa, Iowa. She was born March 1, 1904, in Belvidere Township, Monona County, Iowa, to John R and Edna Craford Moore. On August 7, 1929 she was united in marriage to W. Wayne Virtue. She graduated from Arthur High School, Ward Belmont Girls College, Nashville, Tenn, and the University of Iowa. She was a member and Past President of the Onawaa Women's Club, of Chapter E.F. or P.E.O and of the Plymouth Circle of First Congregational Church.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne, two sons, Jack and Terry of Onawa, two grandsons, Mark and Todd Virtue, Onawa, two sisters, Mabel Erickson, Onawa and Beatrice Lindsey, Arthur, Iowa and one brother, Adrian E Erickson, Minneapolis, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Gravesides services were held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 1980 at the Onawa Cemetery with Rev William Bessmer officiating.

Bearers were Gene Kelly, James Williams, Clifford Young, William Irwin, James Gaukel and Wilson Gingles.

Arrangements were by the Pearson Funeral Home of Onawa, Iowa
