EUGENE T. RAWLINGS

Eugene T. Rawlings, 73, of 323 North I, died Wednesday at his home. Born in Iowa, he had lived in Tacoma 50 years. For the past 30 years, until his retirement a year ago, he had operated delicatessen stores throughout the city, the last being located at 313 North I. Previous to that he was engaged in the furniture business and hotel and restaurant supply business. He belonged to St. Patrick's church. Survivors are his wife, Jennie, two sons, Eugene K. of Seattle, E. W. Richards of Tacoma, one daughter, Mrs. Harry S. Parker of Tacoma, seven grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Mary Bowers of Springhill, Ks.; also another sister and a brother. Funeral services will be announced by Gaffney's.
