Mr. Charles Smith Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith of Ashton township and Miss Blanche Jones of this city (Onawa) were married Saturday (8Apr1916) at 3 p.m. at the Congregational parsonage, Rev. W.J. Turner officiating. A family dinner was given complimentary to them by the groom's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Smith at their home Sunday, 24 guests being present. Mr. and Mrs. Smith will make their home with the former's parents at their farm home where Mr. Smith is engaged in farming until after the crop is gathered.
