Johnathon Allison married Mary MacIntosh after serving in the 13th Iowa Regiment during the Civil War. To this union Frank Allison was born September 13, 1861 in Wapello County, Iowa. Frank married Victoria Samson, daughter of Richard Samson and Marthey J. Richard Samson was a member of the Volunteer New York Co. H during the Civil War and came to Blencoe form Elmira, New York. They had three other children: Ella, Chester and William.

Frank and Victoria Allison had six sons: Edward, William, Clyde, Floyd and Raymond. Frank farmed in the Blencoe area and operated a steam engine used for threshing wheat and making prairie hay on the bottom east of Blencoe. Every summer Frank took a crew of men and a cook wagon to the bottom and made prairie hay. Later all of the boys became dragline operators. Edward operated the dredgeboat that dug the first big ditches on the bottom land from Hornick to River Sioux.

Edward Allison and Olive Dell Molle were married January 30, 1911, at Onawa, Iowa.

Their three daughters were Dora Victoria (married Raymond West). Evelyn Molle (married Norris Willey) and Joy Dell (married Fred Jary). Submitted by: Joy Allison Jary.
