Will O. Marr, was born in Winneshiek County, Iowa, and came to Onawa with his parents John H. and Catherine N. (Ross) Marr, in 1872, when but five months old. He received an excellent education in the schools of the latter place, being graduated by the High School, May 31, 1889. June 3, following, he entered the office of the Monona County Gazette as an apprentice to the "Art preservation of all arts," in which he is making rapid progess.
