Lena Borchardt Died Sunday
After Long Illness
At Her Home.

Funeral services for Lena Borchardt, 70, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Champion funeral home in Osage and at St. John's Lutheran church east of Grafton. The Rev. F. Ide officated and burial was made in St. John's cemetery. Miss Borchardt died Sunday at her home after a long illness.

Lena Bertha Borchardt was born April 26, 1879, to August and Augusta Borchardt on the home farm southeast of Grafton. She was reared on this farm and moved with her three sisters to Osage following the death of her parents.

Surviving are her three sisters, the Missess Emma, Minnie and Mary Borchardt of Osage, and three brothers, William, Emil and Carl, all of near Plymouth. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister, and two infant brothers.
