The most startling news heard in this part of the county was that of the death of Mrs. Lucy Foster, who passed from time to eternity in her sleep Dec. 22nd.

She was a woman of decided ability, and much respected by those who knew her best.

She leaves two daughters and three brothers to mourn their loss.
