Mr. Patrick Gillboy departed this life Nov. 25th. Mr. Gillboy was one of Wayne's oldest pioneers, and has been a great sufferer for the last twelve years, with spinal disease and Bright's disease of the kidney's.
He leaves quite a large family, mostly grown up. By being econmical and industrious he has amassed a snug little fortune. He was respected by friends and townsmen.
His funeral was on the 27th of November, Thanksgiving Day, a day of sorrow to the unhappy family. His remains were followed to their last resting place by a large concourse of people, the Rev. Father Saunders officiating.
