DIED - In Fond du Lac, Wis., Aug 24, 1879, of heart disease, Louisa E., wife of Rev. F.A. Marsh, aged 30 years, 11 months and 25 days.
The deceased was the oldest daughter of S.A. and Elizabeth Clyde, formerly of St. Ansgar township, in this county. She was widely known in this vicinity, and loved by all her acquaintances.
For about fourteen years she had been a member of the Baptist church, exemplifying in her daily life the power and beauty of a christian character. She fell asleep, full of faith in Jesus, breathing as her last message to the loved ones gathered about her, the sweet word of the Master. "Peace."
She leaves one child, a boy of nine years, who thus early in life is deprived of a fond and judicious mother. The remains were brought to Austin, Minn., the former home of her husband, where they were interred the 27th ult.
