Last week we gave an account of an accident to a little daughter of Mr. Markle, who fell out of a wagon and was run over. The little girl's injuries were such as to cause her death. The funeral took place on Sunday.
The bereaved parents and friends have the sympathy of all in their great affliction.

.... account of the accident from same paper, dated June 13 1878, pg 5:
On Monday, as Mr. Markle was driving along the road near the poor farm, in passing over a rut, the wagon was jostled so as to throw Mrs. Markle and a little daughter out. In falling, Mrs. Markle struck on her head receiving serous contusions. The wagon wheel passed over the little girl's body near the thighs. She was very badly injured internally and is now lying at her home in this city in a critical condition. Drs. Moores were called and have rendered all the care possible to ameliorate her injuries. We trust the little girl may speedily recover.
