Mrs. Maria Paulsen, widow of Andrew Paulsen, aged 61 years 7 months and 2 days.

Mrs. Maria Paulsen was born in Norway, October 13, 1882. She with her husband emigrated to this country in 1853, and located in Clayton county, Iowa, where they lived until 1858, when they moved to Rock township, Mitchell County, the place of her death. She had eight children of whom seven survive to mourn her death. She was married when about 22 years old, and was a good mother and faithful wife and died dearly beloved by her children and friends.

We wish to express our sincere thanks to the many friends who comforted her in her last sickness as well as to those who followed the body to its last resting place.
