Wade Rodney Machin, 36, of St. Ansgar, passed away June 4, 2021, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center. A funeral service will be held June 12, 2021 at Immmanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar with Rev. Mark Squire officiating. Burial will take place at St. John's Cemetery, rural St. Ansgar.

Wade was born in Dubuque, Iowa, on April 24, 1985, to the parents of Troy and Deanna (Power) Machin. He graduated from Osage High School in 2003, and he worked sixteen years at RR Donnelley.

He married the love of his life, Jessica Steinberg, on September 5, 2010, and together they were blessed with four beautiful girls, Evelyn, Ella, Eva, and Elyse.

When he wasn't spending time with his family, Wade was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting alongside his pup, Edna, fishing, and farming. Wade was a loving, tender-hearted, hardworking man and father, with a fierce love for his wife and children.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica; daughters, Evelyn, Ella, Eva and Elyse; parents, Troy and Deanna Machin; brothers, Anthony (Emily) Machin and children Cade, Alex, and Claire; sister, Amber (Trey) Jacobs and children; Isabelle, Addison, Corbin, and Lily; and sister; Ashley (Hakkon) Rosendahl and children; Liv, Heath, and soon-to-be nephew; in-laws; Dave and Elaine Steinberg, brothers-in-laws, Jeremiah (Cortney) Steinberg, and children; Joshua (Abbie) Steinberg and children; Jackson (Ashley) Steinberg and daughter; grandparents, Carol Power and John (Jova) Machin; grandparents-in-law, Paul and Rita Hackenmiller in addition to many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Raymond Power, and grandma, Bev Larson, and great-grandparents, Ruth Wolff, Katie Arickx and Harold and Joan Machin.

Wade's memory will live on in the many lives of those he touched. His laugh and smile enriched the lives of those around him and will be deeply missed.
