Who hath Wounds Without Cause?
St. Ansgar Enterprise:—A terrible accident occurred just north of Lyle, last Tuesday, resulting in the death of Knut Erickson, the son of O. Erickson, a tailor of Mona. He had been drinking and laid down by the side of the railroad track a ways north of Lyle and when the passenger arrived from north at 1:30, it struck him, crushing his head and smashing his arm, from which injuries he died a little past midnight. He was about 28 years of age and a hard drinker. Another terrible result of in-temperance.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he died Dec. 31, 1895 and is possibly buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Mona.
