Drowns in Watering Tank.
Osage. Aug. 25.—Mrs. Knute Knudsen, wife of a prominent Danish farmer living a few miles from this city, met death in a peculiar manner at her home Wednesday. Her husband discovered her lifeless body in a watering tank near the barn. The supposition is that Mrs. Knudsen had gone to the tank to deposit the milk of the morning, and as she reached over the tank she was siezed with a fainting fit, falling into the water and drowning, not being able to rescue herself. The tank contained only water enough to cover her body. She was a middle aged woman, and is well known in her community.
