JACOBUS.
Ralph Jacobus was born near North Urbana, Steuben Co., New York, March 22, 1829, where he continued to live and on January 10, 1849 was married to Louisa Holly. To this union were born five children, four sons and one daughter. In 1856 they moved to near Fort Atkinson, Wis., then to Dodge Co., Wis. April 27, 1867, they moved to near Riceville, Iowa; where he resided until death, which occurred April 20, 1908, being 82 years, 28 days old.
About 18 years ago he gave his heart to Christ and has since lived a faithful Christian life.
He leaves to mourn for him two sons Fred and Ward, four grandchildren, all of whom live near Riceville; also three sisters and two brothers in the east besides very many friends.—Riceville Recorder.
